Studio portrait of 7735 Bombardier (Bdr) George William Jordan, 5th Field Artillery Brigade, of Waratah, NSW. A carpenter and joiner prior to enlistment, Bdr Jordan embarked with the Brigade Ammunition Column on HMAT Bulla on 25 November 1915. On 4 November 1916, whilst serving as a gunner in France with the 22nd Field Artillery Brigade, he died of wounds, aged 22.
