Informal portrait of 11271 Lance Corporal (L Cpl) Norman Albert Siebenhausen, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), originally of Warwick, Qld. L Cpl Siebenhausen commenced service in Korea on 7 June 1951. On 31 August 1951 he was one of three soldiers who drowned when their assault boat capsized while B Company was crossing the Imjin River during a patrol in the Kanp'a'ri area.
