Wallet 1 of 1 - contains original letter sent to Mr James Connell, father of Captain William Anderson Connell, dated 8 January 1918, in confirmation of a telegram sent to Reverend Stephens of Scottsdale asking him to break the news of his son's death. Typed annotation on the letter reads "Captain William Anderson Connell 12th Battalion Died of Wounds 28 December 1917".
