The 106 Field Workshop, Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers compound at 1st Australian Task Force Base, Nui Dat, showing the tank repair building known as the Opera House, left. A Centurion Mk V/1 tank and other vehicles are visible in the background. 106 Field Workshop became operational on 1st November 1968, taking over from the 1st Armoured Squadron Workshop, RAEME.
