Portrait of 2787478 Private (Pte) Raymond Alfred McGuire, 4th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (4RAR), of Macquarie Fields, NSW, standing beside a Volkswagen Beetle car. Pte McGuire was killed in action while on patrol in South Vietnam on 16 February 1969, shortly before he was due to return home. He was aged 22 years.
