Informal group portrait of unidentified Staff Sergeants of the 4th Division. Identified is, fifth from left, 1957 Sergeant (Sgt) Charles Holland, 51st Battalion, of Geraldton, WA. Most of the men are from the 51st Battalion. Front row, centre, is a machine gunner of the 12th Machine Gun Company. Many of the men have previously served on Gallipoli. Some are holding playing cards and others are holding newspapers - the Daily Mirror and the Daily Sketch.
