Studio portrait of 2074 Private (Pte) Stanley George Grace, 34th Battalion, of Kempsey, NSW. A motor car driver prior to enlistment, he embarked with the 3rd Reinforcements from Sydney aboard HMAT Anchises on 24 August 1916. While serving in France, Pte Grace was killed in action on 3 April 1918. He has no known grave and his name is commemorated on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial, France.
