Description

Sketch on a leaf torn from a small sketchpad, depicting vessels in the Aegean Sea on April 25, 1915, the day of the Gallipoli landings. Benson indicates points of reference, Hill 600 and Achi Baba, with transport vessels. He also notes that this is one of two sketches on this leaf that were made just before he landed on April 25th.
