The grave of 322 Trooper (Tpr) William John O'Leary, 4th Australian Light Horse Regiment, of Strathmerton, Vic. Formerly a farmer Tpr O'Leary enlisted at Seymour, Vic, on 22 August 1914 and as a member of B Squadron he embarked from Melbourne, Vic, on 19 October 1914. He served on Gallipoli where he died of wounds he received at Gaba Tepe on 15 June 1915. Tpr O'Leary was aged 25 years.
