Studio portrait of 1103 Private (Pte) Arthur Hall, 26th Battalion. A labourer of Campania, Tasmania, prior to enlistment, he embarked with D Company on HMAT Aeneas (A60). Pte Hall was killed in action on 5 November 1916 when D Company was involved in an operation in the Le Barque area. He has no known grave and his name is recorded on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial.
