Studio portrait of NX13675 Sergeant (Sgt) William Teasdale Pocock, 4 Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, of Manly, NSW. Sgt Pocock was a book keeper prior to enlisting in May 1940. He served in the Middle East where he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant (Lt). Lt Pocock was killed in action at El Alamein, Egypt, on 12 July 1942. He was 25 years of age.
