Outdoor portrait of 4835 Private (Pte) Albert Lyle (Bert) Marks, 8th Battalion, of Jubilee, Vic. A farm hand prior to enlistment, Pte Marks embarked with the 15th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Wiltshire (A18) on 7 March 1916. He returned to Australia with the 5th Pioneers on 11 January 1918.
