Studio portrait of 3046 Private (Pte) Albert Victor Erickson, 3rd Battalion, of Drummoyne, NSW. A bookkeeper prior to enlistment, Pte Erickson embarked with the 10th Reinforcements from Sydney on HMAT Warilda on 8 October 1915. Pte Erickson transferred to the 45th Battalion with the new service number 3046A. On 6 August 1916 he was killed in action in France, aged around 23 years.
