Arriving by horse drawn buggies, bicycles and automobiles, residents of Harden and district, NSW, gather outside the Mechanic Institute's Public Hall to hear speeches for a war bonds drive. Identified from left, standing on a replica Mark IV tank, used as a prop to support the drive are, 2445 Sergeant George Julian Howell VC MM, the Lord Mayor of Harden and an unidentified soldier.
