Description
Manuscript titled 'The Night the Chain Broke' with biographies of the RAF crew of a Halifax, including Eric Tansley, Alwyn Fripp (Australian), Len Dwan, Doug Bancroft (Australian), Leonard Cottrell, Ken Leheup and David (Jock) Arundel. They are described as the 7 links in a chain. The manuscript describes the crash landing after being shot down by cannon fire over France.
