Description
Souvenir program for a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a concert held at Cairo Kursaal at 9pm on Friday 12 May 1916. The concert was organised in aid of Baroness de Ronsart who nursed British soldiers during the Crimean War where she was one of the pioneers of Red Cross work. The concert featured the Royal Welsh Fusiliers Band with vocal performances, recitations and instrumental pieces. A grand piano was lent for the occasion by J Calderon & Co.
