Description
An American M123C prime mover, one of two on loan to the Australian army. The trailer is an M15A2. The combination was used to transport heavy plant vehicles. With some modification to the trailer it could also carry a Centurion tank. In line with orders, the doors of the prime mover have been removed, to facilitate the rapid egress of the crew in case the vehicle came under enemy fire. The yellow shield and red kangaroo of 1st Australian Task Force are clearly visible on the front mudguard.
