Next Record >Souvenir program for a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a concert held on Wednesday 26 January 1916 at Caxton Hall to celebrate Australia's Foundation Day. The evening began with a band concert featuring the Upper Norwood Prize Band followed by a promenade concert of Australian artists in the Main Hall. A decorated table competition was also held and judged by the Countess of Darnley, Miss Izitt and Mr Tom Roberts. The program is illustrated with photographs of the Anzac Buffet, Australian soldiers, Victoria Cross recipients, officials of the Australian Natives' Association and Anzac Buffet helpers. A short history of the Australian Natives' Association in London is also included.
