Next Record >Souvenir program for a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a concert held at 8pm on Tuesday 19 February 1918 in the Conservatorium Hall, Sydney. The evening was organised by the Riflemen's 36th Battalion Comforts Fund Committee and the National Rifle Association of New South Wales to welcome home Captain Ambrose Campbell Carmichael. Captain Carmichael was a recipient of the Military Cross who served with the 36th Infantry Battalion and was wounded at Messines and Ypres. The musical program for the evening was arranged by A Stanley Warwick, Registrar of the State Conservatorium of Music and featured instrumentals, vocal performances and recitations.
