Description
This assemblage consists of a wooden plank, or shelf, that has an assortment of objects attached to it, including a bird carcass in a plastic bag, a crystal set and earpiece, service ribbons, a badge, a canvas bag, matchboxes, and collaged photograph newspaper clippings. This shelf is displayed on a wall with an accompanying ceramic duck and small wedged mirror hung alongside it. The work is a protest at suburban complacency in the face of global atrocities.
