Description
Souvenir program for a concert held after the First World War when troops were returning to Australia. This program is for a concert held at the Anzac Hostel in Cairo, Egypt at 7pm on Saturday 31 May 1919. The concert was aimed at children and featured several acts of dancing and theatre. The performances included 'Dance of the seasons', 'The lady and the highwayman', 'Fly away land', 'Shifty shadows', 'The owl and the pussy cat' and 'Gypsy Dance'. The back of the program features a hand drawn map of Australia.
