Studio portrait of VX51487 Private (Pte) Les Lionel Webster, his wife Rita and their children, Shirley and John taken soon after his enlistment on 17 Mar 1941. Pte Webster served with the 2/29 Battalion and died of illness while a Prisoner of War of the Japanese on the 10th July 1943. He is buried at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery.
