Studio portrait of 401 Private (Pte) Harry Charles Guy, 2nd Battalion. Born at Ringwood, Hampshire, in England, three years before the war Pte Guy came to Ardlethan, where he was a farm worker. He was killed in action at Lone Pine, Gallipoli, on 6 August 1915, aged 23.
