Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 539 Company Sergeant Major Harry Fenton Manning Stead, 3rd Australian Infantry Battalion, AIF. Consists of one typed copy of a letter of condolence written to Stead's father from Bicton Clemence Wilson, 3rd Battalion Chaplain. The letter relates how Stead was killed in action (KIA) near Pozieres on 24 July 1916.
