Description
Souvenir illustration from the First World War. The illustration was hand-drawn in black and white by an internee at the Trial Bay internment camp. It features a man sitting in a lamp lit room looking at a desk through a magnifying glass he is holding. On the desk is the lamp, books, dice, cards, a soldier and model buildings. The illustration is entitled 'Durch Die Lupe [Through the magnifying glass]'.
