Description
Souvenir card featuring a hand drawn magazine cover made in an internee camp during the First World War. This card is for the first issue of the magazine 'Monatshefte' dated January 1916 and edited by H Jacobsen. 'Monatshefte' was the illustrated monthly magazine of the prisoners of war in Australia and was made at Holdsworthy internment camp outside of Liverpool, N.S.W. The cover features an illustration of a meal set up with bread, plate and cup.
