Posed portrait of officers and men of what is probably the 13th Light Horse Regiment in camp in England. Unidentified men are resting under blankets with their heads on their saddles. Horses are tethered behind them and the tableau was possibly composed to represent a Light Horse unit bivouaced for the night, although the horse lines would normally be some distance from sleeping men. An armed soldier stands guard behind the front row of prone troopers.
