Studio portrait of 1511 Private (Pte) Benjamin Waldemar (Bernard) Trinne, 10th Battalion of Kapunda, SA. A railway porter at the time of enlistment, Pte Trinne embarked with the 3rd Reinforcements on 19 February 1915 aboard HMAT Runic (A54). He was killed in action on 22 July 1916. He has no known grave and his name is recorded on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial, France.
