Studio portrait of 30130 Gunner Harold Kraft, 9th Field Artillery Brigade of Wolfram, Qld. A miner prior to enlistment, he embarked from Sydney with the 6th Reinforcements on 9 November 1916 aboard HMAT Benalla (A24). He later transferred to the 4th Divisional Ammunition Column. He was killed in action on 17 October 1917; he was aged 23 years.
