Description
Bunker system discovered during Operation Surfside. A detonation cord set by 2790013 Sapper Micheal Weston, 1 Field Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers can be seen leading out of the tunnel. In all some three hundred bunkers were found during the operation; most of these were demolished.
