Studio portrait of VX43909 Acting Sergeant (A/Sgt) Albert James Potts, Z Special Unit, of Hawthorn, Vic. He was a carpenter and a member of the Citizens' Military Force before enlisting in the 2nd AIF in July 1940. He died in Australia on 6 July 1944 as a result of injuries. A/Sgt Potts was 24 years of age.
