Description

Cinema program from the First World War or the period afterwards when troops were waiting to return to Australia. This program is for film screenings held at the Victoria Cinema in Cambridge, England. The cinema had a number of films showing continually from 2:30 to 10pm daily. Showing on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was 'Gaumont Graphic', History of the War', 'Pathe Coloured Travel', 'Billy West', 'Sally Bishop' and 'General Allenby's Entry into Jerusalem'. Showing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday was 'Gaumont Graphic', 'Luke's Double', 'Web of Desire', 'Who's Baby', 'Travel' and 'General Allenby's Entry Into Jerusalem'. Also on the program are advertisements for local companies.
