Studio portrait of 3360 Corporal (Cpl) Ivan Hartlett Harrison, blacksmith wheelwright, of Donald, Victoria. He joined the 14th Battalion on 29 Jun 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Nestor on 11 October 1915 for Egypt. The battalion relocated to the Western Front, France in June 1916. Cpl Harrison was killed in action on 16 November 1916 near Albert, France, aged 24 years. This image is one from a poster produced at Donald, Victoria, commemorating the deaths of soldiers associated with Donald and surrounding district during the First World War. The poster is held at P08261.001.
