Studio portrait of three soldiers prior to embarkation for Gallipoli. Identified on the right is 2949 Private (Pte) Eric John Howard, 1st Pioneer Battalion, of Seven Hills, NSW, who later died of wounds on 24 July 1916, aged 23 years. The other two soldiers are unidentified.
