Studio portrait of 17147 Gunner Stephen Gregory Grugeon, 11th Field Artillery Brigade of Ashfield, NSW. A student at the University of Sydney prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard the HMAT Borda (A30) on 5 June 1916. He was killed in action at Flechin, France on 18 September 1918, aged 26. He is buried in the Jeancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
