Studio portrait of 7011 Private John Morris Hunt, 19th Battalion of Cobargo, NSW. A bank clerk prior to enlisting, he embarked from Melbourne aboard the HMAT Nestor (A71) on 28 February 1918. He was killed in action at Villers-Bretonneux, France, on 25 July 1918, aged 24. He is buried in the Crucifix Corner Cemetery, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
