Studio portrait of 2284 Private (later Lance Corporal) Keith Taylor Luscombe, 20th Battalion of Marrickville, NSW, brother of 3975 L Cpl Broughton Taylor Luscombe, (killed in action on 18 April 1917, see P08624.074). A clerk prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard the HMAT Argyllshire (A8) on 30 September 1915. He was wounded in action at Pozieres, France and died of his wounds in the 57th Field Ambulance on 27 July 1916, aged 20. He is buried in the Albert Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
