Studio portrait of 2628 Air Mechanic 2nd Class Stanley Noel Marsden, Australian Flying Corps of Parramatta, NSW. An engineer prior to enlisting, he embarked from Melbourne aboard the HMAT Ulysses (A38) on 22 December 1917. He was killed on 5 April 1918 in a railway accident at Wendover, Buckinghamshire, England, aged 21. He is buried in the Wendover (St Mary) Churchyard, Buckinghamshire, England.
