Studio portrait of 7308 Private George Bell Rogers,1st Battalion of Parramatta, NSW. A wagon driver prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard the RMS Osterley on 10 February 1917. He died of broncho pneumonia on 2 June 1917, at the Military Hospital, Fargo, England, aged 39. He is buried in the Durrington Cemetery, Wiltshire, England.
