Studio portrait of 3494 Private Henry (Harry) Flude, 18th Battalion of Granville, NSW. A driver prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Aeneas (A60) on 20 December 1915. He transferred to the 45th Battalion and was killed in action on 19 July 1916 at Fromelles, France, aged 20. He has no known grave and is remembered with honour on VC Corner Australian Cemetery Memorial, Fromelles, France.
