Studio portrait of 3711 Private Gordon Albert Clack, 13th Battalion of Lidcombe, NSW. A jockey prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Suevic (A29) on 20 December 1915. On 2 March 1919, he died at the 3rd Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, Kent, England of nephritis, aged 25. He is buried in the Brookwood Military Cemetery, United Kingdom
