Studio portrait of 5707 Private George Colin Green, 4th Battalion of Lidcombe, NSW. A horse driver prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Kyarra (A55) on 3 June 1916. He was killed in action, at Bullecourt, France on 5 May 1917, aged 24. He has no known grave and is remembered with honour on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France
