Studio portrait of Private William Thomas Hyde, 30th Battalion of Lidcombe, NSW. He was a labourer prior to enlisting on 21 July 1915. Pte Hyde died from meningitis in the Granville Electorate College Hospital, Auburn, NSW on 17 November 1915, aged 32. He is buried in the Rookwood Necropolis, Sydney, New South Wales.
