Studio portrait of 3251 Private Kenneth George Randell 56th (later 2nd) Battalion of Liverpool, NSW. A labourer prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Suevic (A29) on 11 November 1916. Pte Randell was killed in action, during enemy shelling, near Corbie, France on 23 August 1918, aged 23. He is buried in the Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, France.
