Studio portrait of 2150 Private Robert Webster Moir, 3rd Battalion of Canley Vale, NSW. A labourer prior to enlisting, he embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 22 December 1914. He was killed in action on 7 August 1915, at Gallipoli, aged 24. He is buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
