Studio portrait of 5712 Private (Pte) Raymond Charles Willcox, 21st Battalion, of Bromley, Vic, and his sisters. Pte Willcox, a labourer prior to enlisting in May 1916, embarked from Melbourne with the 15th Reinforcements aboard HMAT Shropshire (A9), on 25 September 1916. Pte Willcox was killed in action at Bullecourt, France, on 3 May 1917. He was 20 years of age.
