"Japanese lady walking her 'honey pots' to her garden plot." This image is from the collection of 401936 Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Frederick Frueh, an RAAF pilot, who flew repatriated ex-prisoners of war (POWs) from Japan. He served with No. 36 Squadron which in 1946 established a courier service between Morotai and Japan and assisted with the move of 93 Squadron to Iwakuni as part of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force.
