Informal portrait of 2nd Lieutenant later (Lieutenant (Lt)) Osma Voy Richardson, 32th Battalion, later transferred to the 48th Battalion, of Malvern, SA, and and unidentified soldier. A bank clerk prior to enlistment he embarked from Adelaide with the 4th reinforcements on RMS Mongolia on 9th March 1916. Lt Richardson was killed in action on 7 August 1916, aged 24. He has no known grave and is his name is recorded on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
