Studio portrait of 865 Corporal (Cpl) Clement Cooke Junction (Clem) Frearson, D Company, 44th Battalion, of Adelaide, SA. A farmer prior to enlistment he embarked from Fremantle, WA aboard HMAT Suevic (A29) on 6 June 1916. He served on the Western Front and was reported missing and killed in action on 4 June 1917. Cpl Frearson has no known grave and his names is recorded on the Australian National Memorial, Villers-Bretonneux, France.
