Studio portrait of NX70021 Private (Pte) Alexander McKenzie Riddell, 84th Light Aid Detachment, AAOC, of Newcastle, NSW. He enlisted from Paddington on 17 March 1941. Pte Riddell died of Illness in Siam on 28 November 1943 as a prisoner of War (POW). He is buried at the Kanchanburi War Cemetery.
